California Propostion 65

You may see the following Proposition 65 warning on some products:

⚠ WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm. - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, also known as Proposition 65, was enacted in 1986. Having this warning does not necessarily mean that a product will cause cancer or reproductive harm. While we believe our products are safe when used for their intended purpose, we are providing the warning to comply with California law.

The law applies to all companies operating in California or manufacturing goods that may be brought into the state.  These companies are required to provide a warning labels on any product that could contain any of the 900-plus elements that California Air Resources Board considers harmful. The list contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that include additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. Listed chemicals may also be used in manufacturing and construction, or they may be byproducts of chemical processes, such as motor vehicle exhaust.

We have chosen to provide the Proposition 65 warning as a precautionary measure to avoid the potential of liability.
